I currently have a part I drew in FeatureCAM, but to keep everything standarized I want to get a Pro-E model drawn up. Has anyone had any luck with getting a FeatureCAM file to open in Pro-E?

Thanks,

Alex

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but have you tried exporting your Feature file as a parasolid? Go to File>Export>Save as Type (change to parasolid). Our engineers use ProE and we have access to it, but I do not know how to make solids in ProE. I make all of my own solids in Featurecam because it is pretty simple. If I want to show one of the engieers and idea I have, I just send them a parasolid. We also use the parasolid models as readable files on our Mistubishi EDM, and on the Brown and Sharp CMM rather than paying for a ProE translator. Hope this is kind of what you are looking for.
