When you say you "can't do it", do you mean that you don't get the result you expect or that the limit fails? Does the limit work if you do it within PowerSHAPE manually? If so then just ensure that you are limiting with the same parameters as you do manually and it should work. Also ensure that you have set the correct ActivePlane.

hi,
i've one line witch through a composite curve ok ?

i write:

a= Linea.LimitToEntity(object compcurve, LimitingModes.ProjectMode, LimitingKeepOptions.KeepBoth, LimitingTrimOptions.LimitOne, False)
this command work but
with keepBoth the line is broken in 3 parts
with keepone the line is limiti with compcurve but PowerSHAPE keep the line out of the curve ( in this case i've 2 line )

i need that PowerSHAPE keep the line inside the curve !! The result must be one line the line inside de curve !

thank's !

Hi, the best thing is to provide us an example model that shows this issue so that we can reproduce it for you.

Sorry, let me explain a little better. I understand your issue but it sounds like you aren't getting the behavour we would expect which may be due to something within your model. Can you provide a sample PowerSHAPE model for this issue so we can debug it?

Dim entita As PSEntity
Dim entita2 As List(Of PSEntity)
Dim oggDima As Delcam.ProductInterface.PowerSHAPE.PSCompCurve

entita = oggDima
entita2 = oggLinea.LimitToEntity(entita, LimitingModes.ProjectMode, LimitingKeepOptions.KeepOne, LimitingTrimOptions.LimitOne, False)

Thank's

Ok, I see your problem. I suggest you do KeepBoth:on. This should give you 3 curves. You will then have to analyse the results to find the correct curve.
