I can get a circle on a cone at a specific diameter, where the cone intersects a cylinder, or a plane. Is there a way to get the circle at a measured diameter? I have a part that I have enough surface to measure a circle, but not a cylinder. Right now, the only thing I can find is to measure the circle, then manually enter the measured diameter.

Yes, the button is called 'Circle at cone with manual diameter' or similar, where you enter cone and circle diameter and PI will calculate the circle at the correct height.

Check that out.

Cheers,
Peter

Yes, I found "circle on cone with diameter" which is what I am doing. This requires me to measure the part, look at the reported diameter of the circle and then manually enter that diameter into the circle on cone feature for each part I measure. My question, is there a way that PI can automatically pull the measured diameter of the circle and tell me the location that the cone matches that diameter without me having to enter it every time.
