why does the hole wizard not use standard ejector pin call-outs (under feature, create a hole)
right now it uses the same drop-down as a screw would use,
who has EVER seen a #8 ejector pin (not metric)

can this be corrected as it is VERY annoying and incorrect

any catalog that carries English and metric pins with have a standards the matches everyone else
D.M.E., Has-co, PCS, Danley, etc a;; use standards for mold ejector pins....can delcam join the list please

I know that this suggestion had been brought up before a few times before, but I think it would be extremely useful if Delcam could allow users to create their own custom libraries for holes.

For instance, toolmakers may want to use a different set of tabled standards for their ejector pins. 4 different toolmakers may want the head depth for a 1/2" ejector pin to be 4 different sizes for 4 different tooling applications: .248, .250, .252, .255, etc.

Similarly, like the non-existant #8 ejector pin, there is no such thing as a 1/2" ejector pin with a 1/2" head thickness as shown under "Molding/Ejector Pin clearance (Counterbored)/US (normal fit)"

can we at least get the standards correct
just pull up a DME catalog and set the starting point there
then at least when i select a 1/2" or 1/4" pin all the depths and clearances are to the recommended standards

it works for the tapped and shcs counter bore items.....lets get ejector pins on-board

Hi Bruce

Unfortunately there is no mechanism for making your own database of holes - they are hard-coded.
