Hi everyone,

Is there a way you can find features in a model like the way you can in powermill? I would like to be able to find holes in the model but tend to do this by creating a 3 point arc to get the centre point. Am i right in assuming there is a better way?

thanks

Yes - PowerSHAPE can recognise holes, and also fillets, pockets, bosses and protrusions.

You need a solid (Parasolid not V8) to start. Select the solid, then click the 'Recognise features' icon at the top of the feature toolbar.
