Good Morning, I have a problem with CSC libraries, I am Spanish and use PowerSHAPE in Spanish language, I have a problem when I try to capture PSEntity, with the type of Object, for example, "Torus" in Spanish is "Toro" as translated and breaks when you try to convert string "Toro" in the enumeration type "Torus". ¿Is there no language support for that mistake?

Sorry for my English, but is a translation of google traduct.

Hi. Unfortunately a bug was introduced in a version of PowerSHAPE which stopped Custom Software Core working in non-English languages. Please ensure that you are running PowerSHAPE 2016. This should not have this issue.

¿So that means that the bug appears in versions prior to PowerSHAPE 2016? ¿In previous versions non-English users have problems with CSC?

CSC works fine in 2016. Prior to this version it had issues with running in other languages. Are you able to upgrade to 2016? There is a service pack for 2015 that fixed this issue. If you can install the latest SP then you should be able to use CSC with that version.

Good afternoon Lae, thank you for answering my questions. My job is to create applications for Companys that work with PowerShape, before CSC libraries using my own now start using CSC, but my clients use PowerSHAPE in versions prior to 2016 and I think that will be a problem. I will try to solve this by any own class.

A greeting.
David

That's a shame. What versions of PowerSHAPE are your customers using?

Are you a Delcam sales partner or independent?

My clients using older version to the 2016 version.
I am a freelance programmer who lives in Spain, in a city with lots of footwear industry. It works great PowerSHAPE and Rhinoceros for modeling. Before creating CSC had to program a hybrid between PowerSolutionDOTNetOLE and my own implementations to work with the requests of my clients, I have some libraries now very similar to CSC created by me (https://github.com/hopesend/PowerShapeDotNet) for such tasks as CSC did not exist.

The fix is in PowerSHAPE 2015 SP4 and PowerSHAPE 2015 R2 SP2 I believe. If you have an older version then you can create an environment variable in Windows called:
LC_ALL
and set its value to
English

Unfortunately this will put the user interface of PowerSHAPE into English which your customer may not be happy with.
