Hi,

Some times I have large assemblies that customers give us. In order to make my life easier I separate the assemblies in different levels and groups and name them according to their drawing numbers and function they perform.
While I work on these models my level name information is deleted/lost and levels end up with no name information anymore. If that level was part of a group then after the name information is lost it is also deleted from the group.
It is annoying to re-enter the information again and again. I have not managed to find how or when it happens but I see the results (levels without names)

Has anybody noticed that?

My PowerSHAPE version is 2016 (CR 16.1.26) (64-bit)

Kind regards

George

It happens again and again with of all the new parts I work with in 2016. The level name is gone... I can not understand when it happens though.

All of the updates (SPs) are available on the update site. You should be able to see all 5 SPs for 2016 by clicking on Help > Check for updates. The bug you mention here was fixed in SP1, which was released in August.

Hi Jon,

I have noticed a fundamental difference between the Pmill update site and the PowerSHAPE one....
In Pmill the latest patches are in the top of the page and the user can easily see the new updates.
In the PowerSHAPE update page though the user has to scroll all the way down ... to the Updates & Patches area to see if there are any new updates.
Some consistency would not hurt here. :) I vote for the Pmill one.

For PowerSHAPE Service Packs, look under 'PowerSHAPE' | 'Updates and Patches'. 2016 SP5 will be the very first item.

That's what I have said in my previous entry. :) I am just saying that Delcam should have some consistency in the web site designs. PowerSHAPE and Pmill should follow the same rules/pages/structure.
